November 2011: Switzerland Pavilion
The Disney Parks Blog announced that all D23 Members will receive a special 2010 Calendar with printed illustrations of Disney Attractions that were imagined, but never constructed. Some of the sample images had a Switzerland Pavilion at EPCOT with an apparent Matterhorn. Other examples featured Rock Candy Mountain and Mickey's Mad House.

First of all, Happy New Year! And with 2010 rolling in, Disney kicks out it's promotion for the new year with 'Give a day. Get a Disney day.' This means if you dedicate one day of community service, you can receive a free ticket to a Disney Park! Sounds great!
A German tourist visiting Walt Disney World said he had bombs in his backpack while going through security gates. An on site sheriff sent a bomb-sniffing dog check the man's bags, but no bombs were found. The man said he was only kidding, but was still sent to jail for fake bomb threats.The 37 year old guest was set with a doubled out of country $10,000 bail.

Happy Thanksgiving!
A Thanksgiving tradition at Disneyland is that the Pardoned Turkey of the year is shipped off to the original Magic Kingdom. What a life, eh?
The 2 turkeys this year are named Courage and Carolina and now live in the Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland at Disneyland.
Christmas is gradually being added into the Disneyland Resort, with many decorations, etc. The California letters have been changed into the festive annual candy cane letters, in front of DCA. For more on the crowds, hollidays, and more, click here.
